DarkWire
An ultra-fast, efficient AI harness for automated work and pentesting. It runs on your own machine, works inside a sealed box and only does what you allow.
Most AI agents either upload your files to the cloud (no privacy) or run with full access to your PC (where one wrong command can be a problem).
DarkWire is a personal AI harness. It can read and write files, execute commands, browse the web, and schedule jobs, but every command is done in a locked container. You decide which tools each agent can use and which ones require your permission. It works with local models (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp, vLLM), so you can do everything offline and keep everything on your PC.
It is designed for speed. Since every word in a prompt adds latency for local models, DarkWire keeps prompts short. This helps the AI respond faster and use fewer tokens.
I use it for automated tasks, research, major code changes, and security testing (recon/pentesting on my own machines). You can talk to it via a browser, terminal, or Telegram, and you can create multiple agents to pass tasks around. It is a single-file installation with no telemetry.
